Christmas Carol Narrative

Imagine you are fighting in the Battle of Gettysburg. You’re fearlessly attacking the enemy and standing up for your cause heroically when BOOM!! The enemy bumped you on the head and you fall to the ground unconscious. When you awake you don’t remember anything. You can’t remember which side you were fighting for or what happened. In this story you will outline how you think a confederate soldier and a rebel soldier will retell the same story from different point of views. Have fun and be creative!!

Reflection:I really enjoyed using voice thread! It was a good chance to have fun and laugh at myself and all the ridiculous voices I was using! I thought that it was cool that I got to tell my own story the way I wrote it. I thought it was a very easy process and I didn't have much trouble with the site until I had to embed the video onto my wiki page but I eventually figured it out! I think this will be a very cool way to incorporate reading and writing into the classroom as also a way to use technology. I also think it's a great way to show off students work and puts a personal touch to the students work. I think students would be really excited to use this and its a fun way to learn and get students involved! Im glad we were encouraged to participate in this assignment. I'm excited to see the others stories.
